This book is great – it’s a recipe book based on local, seasonal eating in the SF Bay Area. It’s separated by season, the recipes so far are delicious, and pics are fantastic.
New fave recipe: Catalan Spinach, with currants, pine nuts, garlic and dried apricots. Super yay!

that’s cool that it’s specifically for seasonal produce for the sf bay area, and that it’s separated by season. does the produce for the sf bay area differ a lot from the rest of CA farmers markets?

Since we have a moderate to warm climate, all of California has quite a lot of variety of local food available year-round. We’re very lucky in the Bay Area to be in a nice mild climate so we have a big range of foods that will grow here naturally, without having to import as much water from out of the area as they do in southern CA.
